Participation Agreement & Waiver

I agree to abide by the rules and safety standards set by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, Christmas Magic in Monroe Parade Committee and the City of Monroe, MI. I understand that it will be my responsibility to ensure that all rules and safety standards are recognized by the group I represent. The Participant Application states exactly what will make up the entry. No changes or additions to the stated application will be allowed without prior approval from the parade committee.

I hereby acknowledge that during the Christmas Magic in Monroe Parade, neither the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, Monroe News or the Executive Producer, the City of Monroe, MI, nor any other affiliated organization is responsible for ensuring my organization’s safety in any way. Any decision made by my group to participate in the Christmas Magic in Monroe Parade is our organization’s responsibility. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to be aware of the inherent risks involved in the Christmas Magic in Monroe Parade for any injuries and damages that my organization or its members may incur as a result of our participation in the parade.

I hereby waive any and all legal claims that my organization may have against the Christmas Magic in Monroe: Parade & Winter Wonderland for any injuries or damages that my group or its members may incur as a result of our participation in the Christmas Magic in Monroe: Parade & Winter Wonderland. This waiver in no way limits my rights to bring suit against any other individual or third party, other the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, Christmas Magic in Monroe: Parade & Winter Wonderland Committee, the Executive Producer, the City of Monroe, MI, or any other affiliated organization for any such injury or damage.
